Jane is an AASW Credentialed Mental Health Supervisor and provides supervision that is in line with the AASW practice standards and ethical guidelines. She provides multi-disciplinary individual and group supervision to those working in areas of non profit organisations and private practice settings.

 

Jane focuses on supporting the supervisee to provide sustainable and effective support to clients within the framework of:

Professional and ethical responsibility

Self-determination of the client

Professional competence.

 

She provides a safe and confidential space where both the therapist and their practice are reflected upon. Some of the areas include:

 

• The therapists' self in the session

• Consultation around specific cases/themes

• Exploration around ethical dilemmas

• Support of the supervisee to support sustainability and manage the complexity of working in this area. working sustainability with a focus on boundaries

 

 

The same qualities of warmth, non-judgmental attitude, and curiosity, that are present in her client work, are an important aspect of the supervision that she offers.
